This is me, Jordyn!

I’m a freelance videographer who loves business and staying organized. Truthfully, I built this template for myself and then people told me they loved it so I decided to share it with YOU. My CPA has always been extremely happy with me for how I track my finances. He says I’m his easiest client. Your CPA can say the same about you too!

  • Because I, Jordyn, a freelance videographer, built this template for myself, of course it works great for business owners. However, it can totally be used as just a personal finance tracker as well. You can simply remove the entire “business” section. I can customize this for you if you would like.

  • Yes, I have provided written and video instructions on how to customize the template. However, this template uses complex formulas to work properly so it isn’t the easiest to customize if you aren’t super familiar with Notion formulas and relations. There are also aesthetic choices that are a little funky to customize yourself but totally doable. I have tested the instructions on various users to make sure you can effectively follow them.

  • You can totally do this but it will be more expensive than if you choose to have me customize it initially. Also, in order to protect your personal information, I only offer “empty” custom templates. In other words, if you decide you want me to make changes after you have already input a lot of numbers - you will have to transfer that information over to the new custom template yourself. With that being said, there will be a place within the template “customization instructions” where you can hire me to make those changes if you do decide to do this later.

  • No. For logistical and safety reasons, this template requires you to input all of your own income and expenses. I have personally found this really valuable as it helps me really pay attention to my spending. I bulk add in my info at the end of every month. This allows me to stay very organized.

  • Yes! Notion keeps your data safe. You can read more here.
