A little about Me.
Hi! I’m jordyn!
I’m so glad you’re here :)
So… the last time I updated my “about me” page was over seven years ago. I can see myself forgetting to update it for another seven. So, here’s a timestamp: it’s February 2025. I’m currently engaged to be married to a wonderful man named Micah. I still absolutely love what I do for a living. And if I had to create my own life motto, it would be: perspective is everything, and gratitude is a superpower.
Life is truly a gift.
Alright, so what’s worth knowing about me? I love people. I love cameras. I love stories. I love Jesus. And I love business. Those passions led me here—working as a freelance videographer and building an online community for filmmakers. I will never take for granted that not everyone gets to do what they’re passionate about for a living. I’m blessed to say that I do. I’m always dreaming up new things to build. You’ll find me working until 3am some nights just because I want to. (Don’t worry—I prioritize healthy boundaries too.)
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that stories have the power to connect us—and we all have something worth sharing. However you found your way here, I’m glad you did. I’m here because I love this work and want to use the gifts I’ve been given to help others tell meaningful stories.
A very small list of fun facts:
If we are fortunate enough to meet some day, ask me the story of my grandma. It will mean the world to me.
I run an online community for creatives called More Than a Filmmaker. That is an absolute dream come true.
The only drinks I like in life are water and Kombucha. Not a coffee fan. Not a hot drink fan in general, to be honest.
